Other phrases like, “investigated inventory misplacement using loss prevention techniques” even if all you did was find misplaced items stocked in another area.
In essence, you are not lying, you do know something about the job that you are applying for, its just that you are showcasing your abilities, and strengthening your weaknesses so to speak.
When you get to the interview, stay positive, be alert and aware of your body language. Dress well, even a cut above the position’s need. Lean forward, smile, be polite, and for Pete’s sake, turn your phone off, not on vibrate, completely off. Remember, a phone call from a possible employer is your cue to be “on”. Sit up straight, smile while you’re talking on the phone to affect your manner, and be polite.
